Amazing Video

Get your tissues ready because one of Stephen's primary nurses aka Stephen's NICU angels, made us an awesome video montage.  Connie actually made it for Stephen's grandparents as a special Valentine's gift and what a special gift it is!!!  It was so incredibly sweet of her to take the time out of her personal life to do this for us and for Stephen and we can't say THANK YOU enough!  Stephen's nurses have become such an integral part of our lives over the past 6 weeks, that I can't imagine not having them in our lives when we evetually go home.  But luckily I'll always have this video to look back at and remember all the little milestones, special moments, and all the days we spent in the NICU.

And make sure you turn up the volume so you can hear the music!  Please let me know if you have trouble accessing the link and I'll either fix the issue or email out the web link.

Enjoy!!!

  6. Hi Bill and Lindsey: I am Betsy Speed Rich, and I am Tish’s 1st cousin. Her Dad was my Dad’s younger brother. I’ve been following your blog all along, but this little video your nurse Connie made for you is so extraordinary and very, very special. It really blew me away! Part of the reason it touched me so is b/c I am a retired Neonatal RN myself, and I worked at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville for many years. Seeing your precious little boy almost makes me want to go back to work! All children, no matter what their needs and problems may be,are gifts from God. Through them and with them, we grow and become more human, more compassionate, more loving. May God’s blessings and light shine upon you.

  8. Hey Lindsey, I agree...seeing that tear in your eye was when I "lost" it. The tears didn't stop until well AFTER the video was over!!! Not sure where the Neonatal/Pediatric Intensive care nurse in me left off and the friend in me kicked in...but in any event haven't been able to stop thinking of that video since!!! What a special gift, to you and Bill...to the Grandparents....AND to ALL of US!! Thank Connie for us! And give that "Miracle Man" a kiss for me. God Bless all of you,

  9. Wow, I need more tissues! Like everyone else, I lost it after seeing the picture of you kissing Stephen shortly after he was born and seeing the tear in your eye; love that picture. You truly are surrounded by an amazing group of nurses and Stephen will be sure to break many nurses hearts once he leaves. A big thank you to the nurses who put this together, they did a great job!
